Release

Hello again! This is the conclusion of this project. And for this occasion I thought about sharing the game's story with you.

So back in 2019 one of my friends brought up the core idea of the game. The idea was new to me but I liked it. Then I did some research and of course found some games with nearly identical mechanism so we came up with some modifications and we ended up where the game currently is. Under 2 days I have made the current codes 95%. Yes it is now 2021 so you are right to ask what took this long to release the game? Well I am not good with drawing or modelling so it was up to my friend to make the assets for the game. But a week or two after the first prototype he told me that he is done with the project. He simply lost interest in it. For a few more weeks i have tinkered with the game polished it a bit but nonetheless after 2 months I have also given up on it. As a last resort I have contracted a freelancer to start making sprites for it but it was too late. I ended up with a few bucks lost on the game.

Until this project I had lot's of other projects ending the same way. And without any success in game development and with the arrival of COVID I have fully given up on game dev. I think a  lot of other's can relate with me on this one.

So after a bit more than  a year since I last coded, a few days ago I found the project  files and decided to finish it. Or at least get it to a state where it can be released.

So here we are, the game is released, playable, and me myself love it. And to be honest it feels amazing to have something released which I can honestly say is done.
Of course its far from the original idea and goals of it. We dreamed of multiple levels, advertising, level editor maybe, global ranking and soo on. 

But at the end of the day, its a released and completed project which means a lot to me. Time to move on, start fresh and make the next game a bit better, a bit more polished and a bit more fun.
